Trick or Treat

This year trick or treating was the first year that both McKinna and Tysen really were excited and understood what was going on. Tysen was a red Power Ranger and McKinna was Tinkerbell. It was so beautiful outside so we were able to walk around and visit lots of family and friends!!!!

Frogs!!!

Tysen will pick up anything no matter how gross it is. He found a bull frog out at the cabin today and was carrying it all around.

I went to Lincoln for a Halloween party and to go to the Husker game. I spent some time embarrassing my brother Clint in my costume.

Pumpkin Carving

This was the first year that both of the kids could enjoy carving pumpkins. So since it was so nice yesterday we decided to do it outside so that the mess was not in the house. It was a lot of fun! My mom, brother Clint and his girlfriend Adair came over to join in on the fun!

While I was on a girls night I ran into Renee my roommate from freshman year of college. I could not believe my eyes!!!

Preschool 1st Day

Today was Tysen's first day of preschool. He is getting so grown up!


But, the backpack that he picked out is almost bigger than he is.

Saturday one of Dru's roommates from college got married so we ventured with the kids to Kearney for the reception. It was the perfect opportunity to get a quick family photo.

Happy Birthday Kinna!!!!

McKinna turned 2 on the 20th. Today was her party. It was a beautiful day and we were really lucky to have so many family and friends here to celebrate!!! She is really loving Hanna Montana and so she had a cake that went with the theme.

Bananas

McKinna loves to go grocery shoppping and her new favorite thing for breakfast is bananas. So when we went to the store yesterday she really needed bananas and would hardly let me take them from her to pay for them. Then thought she should hold them all the way home. It was really too cute!

Big Stuff

Tysen has started this new super cheesy smile whenever you take his picture. I think that it is pretty darn cute!

Well here is my first official post to this site of our daily family adventures. The kids are growing up so fast that I want to share their lives with all of you. I hope that you enjoy reading and seeing what they are doing. Tysen is almost 4 and McKinna is 18 months. We are now settled in and living in Columbus.
